During your stay at Guinea Fowl Lodge, you will be spoilt for choice with the abundance of hiking opportunities available in and around the Clarens area. Our lodge is the perfect base for your adventures, accommodating up to 12 guests in six bedrooms, which can be configured with twin-single or king-sized beds. From here, you can easily explore the numerous trails and activities the region has to offer.
The Conservancy of Clarens maintains a variety of scenic trails, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings.
Permits are valid for a week from date of purchase, and income from permits is used for conservation and to maintain the large number of trails in the Clarens Nature Reserve.

The Clarens Park Run is the third most beautiful park run in the country, this according to Bruce Fordyce. There is no entrance fee to the Clarens Park Run.
The Golden Gate Highlands National Park offers several day trails at R69,00 per person. (Fee may change).
