A 50% deposit will be required within 24 hours of confirmation of booking and the balance paid 2 days prior to arrival.
All payments must be by electronic transfer and proof of payment be sent to info@chms.co.za.
In the event that a cash deposit has to be made, please add R50.00 to payment for banking service fees charged.
In case of non-arrival, you will be charged 100% of your total payment.
The deposit is only fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 28 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
0-7 days before forfeit the full payment
7-14 days before forfeit 75% of payment
14-21 days before forfeit 50% of payment
21-28 days forfeit 25% of payment

Terms and Conditions:
Guests attend this establishment at their own risk. The proprietor, its agents and/or its employees shall not be liable for, and the guests hereby waive/s or abandon/s any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature against the proprietor, whether arising from the proprietors’ default, negligence or otherwise.
The guest/s, in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the proprietor against any claims which may arise from whatever nature, whether arising from the proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.
The guest/s will be held responsible for any damage, breakages or loss to the property or its contents - please report damages/breakages.
Without incident, breakage deposits will be refunded within 7 days of departure.
We (Clarens Exclusive/Home owners) reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors from the property who refuse to follow these house rules.
Abridged House Rules: The Clarens Golf & Leisure Estate
Guests of Guest Houses, Rental Pool Homes and Golf Resorts Villas may not bring any pets onto the Estate.
To protect the privacy of Home Owners and visitors the flying of drones on the Estate is not permitted.
No House/Guest House/Villa/Rental Pool House may accommodate more than two people per bedroom at any given time (i.e. more than 4 people per 2-bedroomed house, no more than 6 people per 3-bedroomed house, no more than 8 people per 4-bedroomed house, etc.). A bedroom shall mean a room indicated as a bedroom on the plan of the house approved by the Association.
No House/Guest House/Villa/Rental Pool House owner/visitor may share his/her access code with another to gain access to the estate. Access codes are vehicle specific and are not transferrable to another vehicle. Should this rule be broken, access to the estate will be denied to the transgressor.
No person shall drive any golf cart or vehicle on any road within the development at a speed in excess of 10 km per hour on golf cart driveways and 25 km per hour on roads.
No person shall ride a bicycle on the greens or fairways. Bicycles will only be permitted on paved areas and specifically designated areas.
No person shall drive any “quad bike” at any place within the estate.
Children will not be permitted to play on the greens and bunkers at any time.
All golfers are to register at the Clubhouse prior to commencing to play.
No persons shall discard any litter or any item of any nature whatsoever at any place in the estate other than in such places as has been set aside for this purpose and designated as such by the Association
No camping shall be permitted except at any place which may be specially designated for the purpose by the Association.
No fire shall be lit anywhere in the development, except in such places as may be designated for the purpose by the Association and in a properly constructed fireplace.
Access to the residential properties will be controlled at the entrance gate by security. Security should be kept informed of the arrival and departure of all guests who will visit residents.
No person shall make or cause to make any excessive or undue noise which constitutes a nuisance to other owners/visitors, in particular after 21: 00 on any particular day. Where objections to excessive noise are lodged by residents, the HOA will take appropriate action.
Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of these House Rules, or any condition imposed or directions given in terms thereof, shall be deemed to have breached these House Rules and will be liable for payment of a penalty up to R10 000.00 (Ten Thousand Rand) depending on the severity of the offence.
